Why did they make such a big deal about galar starters having pernonalities only to barely show any of it.Sobble doesn't cry in game and i didn't know Raboot was a angsty teen until i watched the anime

I am gonna assume you mean "not enough". But that's the point, they have "base personalities" (more like characteristics) but it wouldn't define them thoroughly.

See: people bitch about Incineroar being 'the same personality" yet all three Incineroar (well four) in media are different.
