"Do you understand what I'm saying"
"I hear what you're saying it"
"Do you UNDERSTAND what I'm saying"
"I HEAR it"

>There's a fine line between being reprimanded for your error and being berated as a personIf this has happened before, then being berated as a person is wholly justified.
>Yes, he did want an answer to his behavior but it got to the point of powertrippingBecause he got mad at the guy acting like a jerk. The guy wanted to make his point, and the manchild was blowing him off with his tone and body language. Sure, it's a little power-trippy, but he's not unjustified.
>He was ganged up on by a 3rd partyThe 3rd guy was getting mad about the sperg's standoffishness, that's really his own fault.
>Any problem he had with the cashier should've been directed to his supervisor off the batSure, but that's assuming the dad knew the situation was going to escalate as such. Hindsight isn't 20/20, and the guy probably would have just fucked off had he heard a sincere apology. There's no way to know but the dad's really not in the wrong for not keeping a cool head.
