>>44502485>Yeah he wasHe was not. He forgot type matchups multiple times against Pokemon he's faced before, he let his emotions fill up in his head and forget to think about his Pokemon first, he approached many of his battles without a concrete plan, and he experienced his Pokemon doing their own thing during battle multiple times. And he didn't address any of this stuff either besides Lycanroc who practically forced him to. Rowlet never got over its sleeping tendencies which almost cost Ash the match, Meltan didn't finally start listening to Ash until it evolved, and Litten/Torracat regularly fought based on pure instinct and no actual strategy from Ash. Even the new moves Ash's Pokemon would learn would come completely randomly. Remember Brave Bird or Revenge?
>He made smart plays all throughout the sagaYea like remember when..? The two examples you gave were in the last two matches of the League, and one of which Naganadel did on its own.
>>44502584It still wouldn't be accurate. Ash didn't lose 13 times in Kalos nor Unova.
