Do you think DP remakes are coming next year? If not, why? If we were to get a core series game for the 25th anniversary, which one would we get? Let’s Go Johto, or Gen 9? I’m picking the former desu

It won't be Gen IX. Despite claims to the contrary, they didn't rush Gen VII for the 20th (hard as it is to swallow for some people, they spent 3 years making it, just like they had XY). Gen VIII again took 3 years and Gen IX will almost certainly follow suit. Whatever comes next year is smelling like a remake of some sorts (and likely DP remakes, gotta help the newbies complete their Home 'dex for Magearna after all).

No one claims that gen 7 was rushed, they claim that gen 6 was cut short specifically so that they could get gen 7 out on time for the 20th without rushing it

Nah, still can't see it. If anything, it was a deliberate move on GF's part to get people to buy all their offerings in the Gen. I mean, look at it objectively - sequel, no rehash, rehash, but paired and actually changed shit - they abandoned trad third versions by Gen IV and were doing whatever to ensure there was the maximum sales in a Gen (especially after BW underperformed for a core title game - worst selling on the best selling handheld remember?).

why would they release an unteased remake when they haven't even finished the second half of the dlc scam they promised?
if anything happens at all next year, it'll just be the crown tundra. it'll be horsepiss and you'll buy it anyways.

Next year is probably when we can start expecting stuff. Probably the Sinnoh remake but who knows, maybe it really IS Let's Go Johto
