Garchomp will never be good on any Doubles Metagame in which Landorus-T exists. And now he has to worry about Dragapult too.
Pray that he's on the Regional Dex of Gen 9 for he to be good just like he was during VGC14 and VGC17.

I think it has a strong potential as a bulky weakness policy sweeper with SD. But then again Lando-T also has SD and Intimidate and STAB Airstream to boot, so maybe not...

Honestly just use the WP, why would I want to spend a turn setting up when 2x attack is good enough especially with max moves.

You’d still have to self proc it in some way, which is prone to redirection, if you ignore the selfproc and simply max right away you’re leaving yourself exposed to getting Intimidate spammed, thus wasting your max. Bonus points for the best redirectior in the tier being immune to both of Garchomp’s STABs.

Also yeah you're right about Lando-T. Not only does it have the most useful ability, not being weak to fairy with 15 more attack and as you pointed out STAB Airstream is powerful.

I don't know man, garchomp kinda fall out of grace during the last generation, at least for doubles, knowing the tapus are coming back and that they are all are getting amazing moves that work well with their abilities, garchomp hopes to be major tread depend on how good of a dinamax pokemon it is.
