>>44520422This is just a theory but we may not get a remake for DP mainly because DP is up to date with the Nintendo DS for graphic material and content when it was in it's respective era.
FR/LG needed a remake since red/blue was outdated in terms of graphics and appeal to the modern age. Let's Go further influence the App game and again another remake for Gen 1 since FR/LG was still pixels and they can include better visuals for the latest system
G/S/C obtained a remake with in HG/SS to further develop the game graphics in their system since Gen 2 was still pixels. They could also add more to Gen 2 to make it feel more at home.
R/S/E had their remake for OR/AS for another update in graphics for the DS again.
This is were it becomes kinda odd for Gen 4 and above because they already have decent graphics and much of their content cannot really be improved as much from the DS. If you want an example look to OR/AS as it was updated, but most felt it was lack luster expect for the characters re-design, slight change in story/lore, and the Delta episode. This is not my opinion but from what /vp has felt about OR/AS I can be wrong though so feel free to correct me if you want to.
However, the 3D world visual that OR/AS gave and design is well done. This can apply for Gen 4 and above to get a remake, but knowing Directors they may just scrap Gen 4 and go for something entirely different and new.
