>>44531527You might have missed the line where I agreed with you that pokemon does not target grown ups, but since /vp/ equals autism I forgive you.
It's a real dissapointment to come to this realization after so many years of indoctrination, encouraging a collectors obsession with the natdex and generational transfers, something that always came with a premium fee, link cable, multiple consoles, credit card, etc.
To me you came off as very defensive of the fact that it's made exclusively for children and that's somehow a good thing so I asked a genuine question about the morality of such a stance but now I see that you don't care either way. So that leaves the question, why you are here on this board in the first place? After all you're not even close to the target demographic age. Face it, we're in the same boat. Somewhere deep down you're also clinging to the hope that pokemon will focus on improving each generation in favour a demographic that actually plays videogames.
Or you're but an out of board apparition with a vengeance that needs to go back.
The future of pokemon as videogames lies in fan creations. Now that GF abandoned the seamlessness of appealing to the collector gamer archtype, refusing to improve the core gameplay mechanic and treat all sidecontent with potential like generational gimmicks I am just here for the monsters at this point. I am sure there will come a time where even that stops appealing to me and I will finally be free from this zombie parade.
