That already cuts a large amount of the population, especially the last point. Pokemon's brand loyalty is insane, and people just love particular Pokemon.
The only people who would be interested in Temtem are those who care more about minmaxing and "difficulty" (which are really Temtem's only real draws) than the world itself, and many of those people are already playing Pokemon mods they don't have to pay money for.
