Yall might just rip off the bandaid now, a Pokemon will probably be added in the smash pass and its probably gonna be Cinderace

It could be Rillaboom, but TPCI doesn't even like him as much as they do Cinderace. Plus, Japan has a thing against monkeys (and I believe they love bunnies)

Hopefully my screenshot will ease the pain

Why do smashfags do this? Is the whole situation with Incineroar and Decidueye just a blur now? Did everyone forget already?

I'm confused what moveset it would even have. It doesn't necessarily have to have a unique mechanic, but so far every single DLC fighter has one, so it's safe to assume all future DLC fighters will also have one. If that is the case, then what "unique mechanic" could Cinderace possibly have? I guess maybe Libero changing its fighting style depending on its last used special, but in that case, it means it'd have non-Fire moves for its specials, which, based on past Pokémon rep, I feel isn't likely.

For me, I think it'd be Urshifu. It: ties into a recent release; has a "unique mechanic" in its stance switching; and the Pokémon already looks like it belongs in a fighting game, so it'd fit right in.

Cinderace could also have a cheering gimmick? Shield Pokedex states "It gets powered up when cheered on"

I'm hoping we'll get Rillaboom and it could use the drum s its gimmick to be a ranged heavy. It could play the drum to attack with sound or grow vines, and throw the drum to hit for a lot of damage but be temporarily weakened.

Remember last time they forced Sakurai to put a character in with Byleth? Remember how it executed all of the hype right then and there? Unless Sakurai wants Cinderace in it isn't getting in.

If it's not in the next pack, or the third one at most, the Pokémon rep has missed the train period. In 2021 Swooshie would have lost its freshness and therefore putting a Pokémon over a character people actually like would no longer be worth it.

But then again, the Pokken tournament free trial could mean something for CP7, but it will probably be a third party. If its first party, it will most likely be a Pokemon
