Took them long enough, I kinda figured that something like this would happen since it's such a common trope

Design-wise there are only a few Megas I really like but regardless I loved that things like Beedrill and Mawile got them... not so much a fan of Megas given to already powerful mons

And yeah I kinda wish they came back. I can't say I'm a fan of how Pokemon "has" to have "gimmicks" for each generation now, and I'm even less a fan of how they seem to only last 1 gen

i've always been positive about them, just the retarded distribution is typical of gamefreak
stuff like banette, mawile, and lopunny were in huge needs of buffs, if it was just kept along this vein it would be a good concept
though they just couldn't help giving charizard 2 megas, then giving them out to pseudos as well, fucking retards

Some are cool, some are shit, some shouldn't exist, and they shouldn't have abandoned them in favor of new gimmicks every gen. If they were the only battle gimmick people would've warmed up to it more over time.

I was indifferent to it, but annoyed Swampert didn't get one. I still gave it a shot, and I had a good time. Also, it was so satisfying to see Mega Swampert punch Charizard in the face.
