so why don't they just redesign it or simplify it?
Bulbasaur and Ivysaur got redesigns in Gen3 so why didn't they just made Venusaur easier to draw for those """"veteran'""""" artists at Gamefreak who can't draw frogs?

The stem/trunk is still present, you just can’t see it at the angle the newer art is at. It’s even present on the amiibo.

bulbasaur and ivysaur have always looked cool but venusaurs design always looked off but this art of it fixes all the problems I have with it

The only change of Venusaur through the generations is the number of petals in it back. Sometimes 5 and sometimes 6

Rotate the leaves 45 degrees so it doesn't look like it has a hat and the design is saved for me. The Mega doing the rotation but giving it the pink petal hat felt like a kick in the balls for me.
