There are a lot of reasons, really. A few of them really are tech demos or trash, not every Pokemon player necessarily likes every spin-off genre, their not being Game Freak games causes people to evaluate them more clearly, the Genius Sonority RPGs are on the Gamecube and Battle Revolution isn't tremendous as a standalone game. It is interesting that for a series that can inspire such devotion, most players actually won't buy everything with the Pokemon logo on it. I do approve of reassessing them now that some hanger ons are tiring of the Game Freak games and future spin-offs may be stuck in mobile F2P (in part because I haven't played a lot of them myself), but we don't have to inflate them either.
