Earlier today, I saw my younger cousin playing Sword and it was kind of refreshing to see how into he was. It’s been so long since I’ve genuinely enjoyed anything Pokemon related, so it was refreshing to see someone as young as him be so enthusiastic about it.
Still not buying those shit games though lol

My kid dropped new games as they were too slow. They preffer to play TCG.
If it matters His fav pokemon are:
Gengar/ Mimikyu/ Darmanitan (He loves both forms)/ Flareon/ Empoleon

I kind of had a similar experience when I bought sword for my younger brother.
I've watched the original anime with him so he knew what Pokemon was but had never played a game. He was so excited to be able to play and pet the Pokemon it was an all around good time even though I didn't really like it myself.
