>>44543938While mega fug is bullshit which I agree with (especially since Gamefreak literally broke their own rules that were consistent with mega evolutions with mega evolutions where they have to sacrifice the item slot to use the mechanic) Dynamax isn’t exactly less bullshit either where unlike megas and z moves, dynamax doesn’t have the item slot drawbacks which leads to shit like dynamax weakness policy and on top of that with the exception of Zacian, Zamazenta and Eternatus, Legendaries can dynamax and crown tundra will likely bring more or less all of the major and minor legendaries which will likely add more bulkshit as even if the major legendaries get banned from tournaments, minor ones in combination with dynamax will still be around lead to things like dynamax Landorus (who might I add will have access to max airstream) ravaging the meta (and if the major legendaries are allowed in tournaments then expect absolute bullshit of the highest order to ravage tournaments which has the possibility of being worse than anything prior).
If anything dynamax is more likely to be more bullshit than Megas as more Pokemon get added back as least with megas, the bullshit is mostly isolated to specific case by case situations which can easily be rebalanced which they did with mega Kangaskhan where they took out powerup punch from its moveset as well as nerf parental bonds extra damage (like for example make fug require a held item for it to mega evolve which there a fascinating item in HGSS called the Jade orb that easily serve as its mega stone).
