Not him, but not a good argument. Animals in real life have jobs and you should not be able to marry them. The only reason its more acceptable to marry a Pokemon is due to the fact that it has human level intelligence and has the ability to communicate with people, its just not shown in a childrens universe.

Oh and, marriage is also a legal thing, not something anyone really knows for sure as the show never discusses that, but we can for sure say in universe Pokemon do/can have romantic feelings for humans and there are people who do/can have romantic feelings for Pokemon.

I think Pikachu's like a 10 year boy who occasionally gets a crush on a girl, but it never goes anywhere. If the video game canon has anything to say about it all Pokemon are sexually mature by the time they have an egg group. So as soon as it became a Pikachu he was able to reproduce/find a mate.

Meowth acts more like an adult than Pikachu does. Like in Sun and Moon Pikachu spent an entire episode just trying to play around with Rotom's hair like an 6-8 year old kid would when told not to pull on some lady's hair.

Also how do you know Pokemon don't have rights? Pokemon and Humans in the universe of Pokemon exist in a co-dependent style relationship. Pokemon are everywhere, they help with jobs, cities, technology. They are more important to the human's society and communities than any common house pet has in our world. Logically they have rights considering how their universe revolves around them. If you abuse a Pokemon a police officer will arrest you for example.

Well assuming its even possible for a Human to be impregnated (If that even is how Pokemon reproduce, we've never seen a pregnant pokemon before) or vise versa, a Pokemon would take responsibility. I don't see why they wouldn't, but they have the freedom to do whatever they want as all pokemon are different.
