Viridian Forest actually has grass types, Pokemon like Rhyhorn/Kangaskhan/Vulpix/Growlithe that were previously a slog to add onto your team because you had to grind to catch them up were now viable in the story.
Considering that the Sinnoh remakes will inevitably be in the same style as LGPE, it's safe to assume the curated roster will also fix this issue here. Shame we can't say the same about Galar where the cut only made the problem worse.
