It's a lot better than Stantler either in the single player or competitively, so there's that. The only good thing about Stantler is that one anime episode.

I actually used it when playing BW. Felt more advantageous than using Zebstrika since it could also use Wild Charge plus a bunch more coverage that normal types tend to have.

I remember playing through Platinum with one of these. Horn Leech was clutch and worked well with Sawsbuck's high attack.
I look forward to it showing up in Go, hopefully actually rotating forms with each season change.

I could absolutely see Sawsbuck getting access to High Horsepower given pretty much every other hoofed Pokemon was given it this Gen.
This would be great on a Fire weak Pokemon with high attack and decent speed.

Gamefreak is ashamed that they removed seasons. Sawsbuck is one of my favorite designs, it's like the perfect fantasy creature the way it combines its elemental properties with real life ability for animals to change with the seasons. Though it's relatively grounded look coming from the same generation as Keldeo is pretty weird. Then again Keldeo looks out of place next to Cobalion, and they're supposed to be part of the same group.
