I mean if you kept up on the board you would know the answer. It’s because Pokémon did the dexit and then brought some mons back, so it made a whole new meta again, and it’ll do it again once the DLC comes out. Also the whole argument about new stall threats and corgi knight. Also since national dex is a thing people want to compare it to VGC, also many people miss megas and hate Dynamax and fight about it on this board.

Everyone on /vp/ is terrible at competitive. And plenty of anons are insecure about it.
The idea of a people being so good at Pokemon that people actually respect their opinions makes them seethe with jealousy.

Why does 5-6 people get to decide what happens in a whole entire meta? Shouldn’t all the register players that have been a player for at least 2 months be able to vote wither or not a Pokémon gets banned?

If Quagsire is down, Toxic Salazzle would outstall most of the team. The only things stopping Salazzle are Quagsire, Zeraora and Tangrowth (if it packs EQ or Rock slide) but, if they get down, that amount of stall is no use. Ditto can also work against Salazzle, but, if it predicts the Imposter switch in, the "taste your own medicide" tactic foils down.

Melmetal's best counter was Rotom-Heat, Cinderace's best counter was Hippowdon, and Dracovish's best counter was Seismitoad.
They were offensive, but they threatened stall teams the least because stall teams could easily fit those mons onto their teams.
