How do you rank the Pokemon Rivals? I havent played gens 7 or 8 so I wont bother ranking them.

Blue, Hugh, N
-Blue's a pretty cool guy. He's a smug ballbuster, but that competitive shittalking is charming.
-Hugh is the most likeable out of the "friend rival"s. He's got his own story going on, but hes always on the scene when shit gets bad. Total Bro. Really wish they gave him some better pokemon. I love that he doesnt give a shit about becoming Champion either.
-N's probably the most interesting character from the story focused games.

Barry and Cheren
-Barry's less alpha than Hugh, but his hyper personality is entertaining. Has a pretty strong team too iirc.
>B tier
Cheren, Silver
-Hes alright. Good music, competent team. Becomes way more likeable in the sequel after having his aspergers cured..
-Silvers a classic, and he's from my favorite region, but they do nothing with him. He's barely got a presence in the originals, and in HGSS they do nothing with him being Giovanni's son outside of the Celebi event.

Bianca, Wally
-Sad character. We crushed her dreams so bad that she let herself go in the sequel, and now she looks clinically depressed. Always liked her for some reason.
-Wally's basically a make-a-wish kid just trying to prove something to himself, and we stomp his dreams into dust.

-Best pokegirl, but holy fuck is she bland and forgettable in Gen 3. Only personality trait is "girl"

All 500 rivals from X/Y
-Serena sucks. Shes just May but with even less of a personality and a boring outfit.
-the little girl annoyed the shit out of me
-as did the fat faggot and his twink butt buddy
-Gamefreak thought they were so fucking clever adding 500 rivals to the game, thinking that we'd be invested in the story and characters enough to not notice that theyre constantly stopping for cutscenes MGS3 style because theres fuckall content in the game.
