I know /vp/ likes to shit on pokemon for making trash games, but this crown tundra shit is taking too long. what am I supposed to play right now? Already replayed Sword like 3 times and traded my doggos around to complete my living dex.

The issue with this is that each generation is based on a gimmick. They also view kids as attention deficit these days and want to make everything as simple as possible for them so that they won't drop the game out of frustration.

I've read legit youtube comments saying that people thought SwSh gym battles were hard.

I really want BW remakes someday. Seeing the Battle Subway on a home console would be amazing. And I really want them to finally reveal what became of Hilda/Hilbert after they supposedly left 2 years prior to search for N. Only for him to return to the region and then decide to go looking for him/her by the end of BW2.

On that note, I think BW makes more sense with Hilda as the MC, since the ferris wheel stuff and them chasing after each other really feels like some kind of love story in the making.

Play any of the Xenoblade games. Easy to learn how to play, they are fun, girls are cute, great music, lots of optional things to do, main story is quite long, and other things I might forgot to add.

The ideal way, and what I speculate they're planning, is
Gen 9 2022
Then Gen 4 remakes.
Then Gen 10 for the 30th anniversary 2026, on Super Switch/Switch 2.

Gen 4 remakes are better for Gen 9, if they do them for Gen 8 they will be ugly as fuck and have Dynamax shit horned in, horrible, we better hope they're saving them for Gen 9.
2021 will likely be a packed year in terms of Switch releases so it makes sense strategically for Nintendo to want Pokémon in 2022 instead.
All legendaries being in Crown Tundra indicates no Gen 4 remakes. There's no smoke for them. GameFreak didn't really do anything for the 15th anniversary in fact BW missed it. A 25th anniversary unlike a 20th or 30th isn't that important to warrant a new mainline game. TPC makes it sound as if there's just spin-offs.
I believe I am right.

In Gen 7 they even went so far as changing Lillie's dialogue so that it wasn't suggestive to the female protagonist as it was to the male protagonist.

In SwSh, they literally just copy pasted the male protagonist's dialogue everywhere. I was in the battle tower and one of the Lass's referred to my female protagonist as if she were a guy. Probably an oversight from when they were changing all gender pronouns in the script. It shows at least in gen 8 that they used the male protagonist as the base of the script.
