It is by all means a badass bird, but here's the thing: you upgrade it to 525ish and then you're suddenly going to wonder what the point of your starter is when the professor could've just given you one of the thousand fucking birds on his lawn. Pidgeot is my bromon but I cannot justify upgrading its stats in a meaningful way unless it evolved even later, like around level 50-55, that way there is a very clear difference between your starter and the Route 1 bird in that one matures far faster than the other. If that happened, +15 attack, +15 defense, +20 spA, and maybe +5 speed. Give it pseudo-legendary Kanto bird stats without the unique typing.
