2. Practice a lot. And I mean a lot. Tweak your team if you have to. Don;t stick with generic 252/4/252 EV spreads, find out exactly how much HP/ Defense oyu need to tank the hits you need to, find out exactly how much speed you need to outspeed the shit you're trying to outspeed (For instance, Arceus doesn't need to invest fully in speed in order to outspeed an invested Yveltal).
3. Adapt and shift. This is the hard part. Sometimes you make a good team, and then the meta shifts and it isn't good anymore. Be prepared to keep tweaking and maybe even make a new one. Complacency is death.
