Like what the fuck are you talking about, of course they could fucking split if Game Freak felt like doing it. Psychic powers and cosmic themes aren't the same thing. There's plenty of reason to keep them under the same Type, whic is why they already are. But it doesn't NEED to be like that. They CAN split the Type if they want to. You're pants-on-head stupid if you're trying to argue that Cosmic and Psychic literally CAN'T be separate just because they're currently the same.
How about provide an actual reason why they won't, shouldn't or wouldn't do that, instead of for some reason acting like the split is impossible.
