In aborigine myth, the Curlew was said to be a mother that had lost her children in a bush fire. In her sorrow she took to the bush in hopes of finding them, constantly calling out for them and over time transformed into the Curlew
Out in the proper bush areas like the Gulf of Carpenteria or anything as far west a lot of aborigines still hold their cry as a death omen. I reckon Dark/Flying, Ghost/Flying or Ghost/Normal would work amazingly, and the whole death omen thing would make Intimidate or Unnerve a really good ability choice
