>>44592576Matthews Scizor did inspire me to try my own hand at taking on the Pokemon League with my favorite too, just now.
I used a Lilligant (Named Ms. Fortune) she was level 80 (ended at 81), she was Timid Nature, Max Ivs, EV trained (252 SP.Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Sp.Def), she had Chlorophyll, a Big Root, with the moves Giga Drain, Sleep Powder, Quiver Dance, and Pollen Puff, AND I did not use Dynamax nor consumable items....
It was... not easy and I only won that by sheer luck and the AI being really stupid. Leon's whole team was a threat, the Aegislash could have OKO'd me with Steel Beam, I missed my first turn Sleep Powder which almost cost me the whole match but he got low damage on the Steel Beam and I pulled the lucky follow up sleep, got a two Quiver Dances off and sapped through the rest of his HP. The Dracopault held back the hardest, it Draco Meateored twice instead of using Flamethrower which would have one shot me because it WOKE UP FIRST TURN ON SLEEP, I got lucky and was able to take advantage of those two Dracos to get to +4 off of quiver dance. Then Intellion came out and gave me one more QD to get to +5 before dying to Giga Drain. Charizard was the big threat for me... even at +5 Lilligant was only doing 1/5th of G-Max Charizards HP, I really wanted to win that fight without using Sleep but one Max Wildfire dropped her from max to half the burns were hurting and he max Air Stream in the back, I had to sleep him on the last turn because he would have lived with 5% hp on a successful hit taking me out with another Max move. I BARELY won that. Following him, I had to fight Mlio with his grass team which wasn't as bad as I was thinking. Bellossom set up Sun and it was game for him.
I had a rematch with Leon, right after to see if I could win again.... he dodged the Sleep Powder, Steel Beam dropped Lilligant from 232 to 7 HP, Giga took him out but Dracopaults Meteor took her out. So we are now 1/1....
