post elo. You realize how broken ghost types would be? Poison is one of the best offensive and defensive typings out there. Think of Toxapex, Gengar, Salazzle, Weezing,Toxtricity, Drapion? All those Pokémon are overpowered and making them immune to poison would be painful for players. Learn your facts bud

Something tells me this is more a logical concern than one of "balance."

Ghost shouldn't have physical bodies that are capable of being poisoned. Similar reasoning I imagine for Steel's immunity towards it.

I'd argue further that Fire should resist Poison, with the trade-off being that it's SE on Water.

They gave up on ghosts are on incorporeal in gen 3 through. Sableye is clearly a goblin and Banette is a doll. Then we have the ghost trees and stuff like that. At this point they should make ghosts neutral to Normal and Fighting attacks and give the immunities as levitate-like abilities to whatever pokemon would make sense.
