just admit it looks like shit. I can see logically why they might have to but it looks awful and goes against the cool theme of battling monsters and the edge of it all. obviously the games are not for our age range that goes without saying but here we all are.

Presumably the one that still had to create 100+ new monster models and alot of new humans and props and more too, which would make the 300-ish reused models absolutely meaningless.
By the way, alot of DQ's monsters are pallet swaps, which Pokemon has too, but doesn't count as unique monsters.

monster hunter stories had 48 unique monster mounts and a bunch of recolours. having a similar amount of ridable pokemon, 50 give or take 5, + the bike would make me happy.
