>>44614154Side Quest! Pokemon can't make super drastic changes to their formula, so they'd need to introduce a narrative reason to use your Pokemon. Copied from an old comment: If you want Pokemon to feel more alive and have the bond of friendship thing be more important they're gonna have to start making events that you can do with certain pokemon. Something like
>You've got a Fire Type Pokemon with a Friendship or Affection value of 5 or 6, and there is a side quest in a town that requires a fire type who trust their trainer enough to help with a thing.I'd love to see Pokemon actually interact more with the world around us rather than just being battle tools. Like imagine a random sidequest where you see these unlit candles sprawled around the region and no one explains it, but if you walk up to one with a fire type pokemon it asks "X wants to light the candle, do you allow them to?" and if you do this for every candle you get to fight some legendary pokemon that unlocked. Just do stuff like that, but have it based around friendships.
>>44614228Most of this is good but:
>Better Models/AnimationsThis is easier said than done, they have a of Pokemon to model and making each little idiosyncrasy visible on each Pokemon is just not feasible. I think they need better coders, new blood, and a lot more time, as is they make it so after modeling the pokemon they are going to continue to use those same animations and models for about the next 5 to 10 years so there is really only so much they can change with tight deadlines. They need more time to really do this.
>Variety among Each individual pokemonColor changes are the only thing I believe you could get away with. I feel like there could be some color swapping thing in universe to like "Dye" your Pokemon. I think Physical changes are too difficult to implement same with cries.
>Remove IV/NaturesThis is big change to the formula, which I don't think they could manage, it'd be cool though.
Everything else it good.
