Anyone else playing/played Fools Gold? Here's my current team, currently in Goldenrod Radio Tower curbstomping rocket grunts.
Favorite part of the game so far was the creepy deserted Pokemon Center area

This is the first I’m seeing of Gengar’s design and holy shit he’s really neat. It’s so hard to choose 6 in this game, I also started with Totodile and was super hesitant to box him (for the time being) because I think he looks really cool too.
Also How good is Arcanine? I really want to use him in some capacity as well.

Arcanine's not bad.
Stone evolutions have level up moves in this hack so if you want a power boost, you can use a stone with barely any consequences.

Played until about 7th gym or so and dropped. The design spins are either hit or miss, with a lot of miss. Feraligatr alt was a little disappointing. The OC content was also cringe. Still kinda fun though

Just beat Johto, and I gotta say that while a lot of the designs are really not that good, the Machamp, Fearow, and Togepi lines are fucking perfect.

Pretty much What >>44616738 said, it’s base game Crystal with a couple of added areas and sprite+type changes for the dex. The changed content isn’t super overbearing or super jarring, type changes are pretty unique and fresh, and it still feels like classic G/S/C. Pretty based if you ask me.

This hack is pretty cool, I didn't think I would ever wanna play gen 2 again.
