Cards' individual values are the same but the price of grading them went up a ton. Nice Shinings btw.

Nah, just a weeb. I bought and played through a bunch of the jap versions back in 2008 when I started learning Japanese to help get fluent with kana. Ever since then I've just been buying and playing the jap versions.

do you know about the error cards when watching youtube i figured out i had some error cards that is good condition too i have many of the old cards because my mom when i was a kid would get me them and i like to collect all the charizards because he was my favorite so i had many card packs and boxes when was kid and have alot of them

Yeah, I know about them. They can be tricky to notice, sometimes. I should go through my old stuff again, to check to see if I have any errors, that I overlooked.
I know I at least have the Vulpix and Pikachu errors, off the top of my head.

do not buy cards much anymore will buy champions path elite trainer box but the last big purchase ever made from cards was years ago with money saving for fun things i was told to buy this whole master set for 500 dollars and i did and now its so hard to get it because its expensive

the tcg trend now seems to be taking really cool, rare concepts (e.g. full arts) and making them either common for all cards or common among the rarer cards, which ruined their ethos

Yeah I’m not a big fan of the TCG now. There are some cards where they hit it out of the park (see the image I attached) but having rainbow rares and all this stuff and 5 variants of a single card is tacky to me.
