I'd rather they all do typeless damage.

I'd rather a no boots all typless EZ meta, but I'd also rather have boots over rock weak pokemon getting fucked.

So glad Volcarona is not just viable but actually not requiring a galaxy brain and set up to use.

Hazards are now tied to the user. You need to baton pass to keep hazards up on a switch, but now the only way of removing hazards is either KO-ing the hazard user or forcing it to switch

I wouldn't mind, most people keep a phaser for getting rid of buffed up mons anyway.

Better than needing a defogger, although I guess Rapid Spin is kinda ok now with the +1 speed to clearing hazards with some chip damage.

No. Wasting 5 turns is a cakewalk for stallmons.
The best scenario would be pebbles doing neutral damage (or even boosted damage against flying and levitating mons to make up for the spikes immunity).
But typed-damage pebbles are better than boots. They need to be able to do their job.

Hazards last only 5 turns. Using a move which removes hazards now inflicts a 50 BP, type-based attack to the opponent per hazard removed (damage decreases by 10 BP per turn since the initial set).
