>>44625730Fire Blast is the first TM you get worth putting on Volcarona and you have to wait until Lacunosa. The thing stats are good enough that in my run it was still my main powerhouse through the midgame while waiting for better moves.
Other than that you'll have to rely on tutors:
Go back to Driftveil right now to teach it Signal Beam so it carries a proper special bug attack.
After that there's tutor at Humilau to get either Roost or Giga Drain on it, but you'll have to wait a lot for that one so don't miss it.
