The wild area for Isle of Armor is strictly better than the one in the mainland. It actually has diversity and exploration to do.

Being better of shit, doesn't make it good. The diversity was just like the main wild area, different biomes but contained, feeling artificial and unnatural., now we just have the sea too.
The exploration is meaningless as the main one, now you have just some TR but nothing so important that makes you feel rewarded for exploring.

As its own thing IOA is okey, the wild area in IOA is far better the entire base game in every conceivable way, has some good competitive stuff, the Kubfu plot while ludicrously short is honestly nice and in same regards, I think its better than the entire base games garbage plot but unfortunately its bogged down by the fact that its DLC to SWSH which SWSHs base is one of if not the most barren games in the entire franchises history that it makes the DLC feel that it should of been in the base game instead of additional content. If this was DLC for sun and moon or heck XY (which despite the issues those games had, they at least had good qualities to them that helped those games stand on its own legs with Sun and Moon having a lot of personality given to Alola and XY having whats still the best online in the series and at least having Kalos be somewhat of a nice region to explore where the routes AREN’T GODDAM STRAIGHT LINES) then the DLC would of probably had much better reception (heck if done in XY, it would of been seen as something revolutionary to the fanbase coming after the 2D era and hyped up even more than ever).

Gamefreak did shield players dirty so I sold shield and brought sword so I can enjoy Klara. Avery sucks. I transferred my shield exclusives using pokemon home.

Oddly enough I never had much issues with Avery and found him Meh desu. Hop on the other hand deserves to be decimated from existence for all the annoying shit he did in the early game and Hogging all the spotlight away from Bede and Marnie who are far more interesting characters and could of left a stronger Impact if they had more screentime which didn’t happen thanks to fucking Hop.
