Yes because the main campaigns of XY onward were soooo much more rich and content filled compared to the other main campaigns of the previous gens with better postgame

Good games reward players for completing objectives. You wouldn't want to start the game with all the TM, it's better to give them to player as a reward for accomplishing something. optional areas locked behind HMs or other abilities similarly reward the player for their progress in the game. Just because it's the end of the game doesn't mean the rule no longer applies, it's better to reward the player with things instead of just giving them away.

XY had what? One new city, the Looker missions which only consist of roaming around Lumiose, Zygarde and the Kanto legendaries and the Battle Tower clone. While DP had like 7 extra routes, new dungeons and towns, a shit ton of new legendaries and the Battle Tower. And that's not including the side content like Contests and Underground while XY has Pokemon Amie? Super Training?

Yes because the Battle Maison with ranks was so much different than regular Battle Maison. And how's that online? Oh wait, everyone stops playing that once the next new flashy game arrives. So is it really postgame if you can't even experience it anyone?
And if hallways you only visit once is such useless pieces of content, why don't we just remove the overworld from the games and replace it with a visual novel styled format
