The types Fairy is weak to needed offensive buffs and they got them and the types it's good against needed significant nerfs. The only real problem here is that bug got caught in the crossfire for some stupid fucking reason but honestly bug was already shit so it's a minor casualty. Fairy is a healthy type and has only served to stabilize the meta. The only thing at fault here is a small amount of fairies (Magearna, Clefable, and Togekiss) that are absurdly powerful beyond virtue of their typing alone. It's creating a false narrative that fairy is broken as all fuck when it isn't. Before now there was no reason to run steel or poison coverage except for STAB and fairy fixed that, something very much welcome and needed. You may not like it but it's good for the game.
