I feel like people are just gonna slap a scarf on it and put it on every team. In singles it'll probably be quickbanned but in doubles it'll probably rule the metagame.

In doubles i just use wide guard and laugh at the spamming morons, most people don't even know that the move can be used infinitely (unlike protect) and just keep spamming and hoping the move fails

There won't be bans in the first season of CT. At most there might be a season after it releases that bans the top usage, but you'll guaranteed have to deal with the Tapus the first few months. That said, people will deal with Lele the way they deal with Expanding Force now; other terrain, priority, imprison, and dark types.

that's not a particularly big deal in singles as was seen last gen when Mawile/Bisharp/AshGren/etc werw still common enough on teams featuring Lele.
even in doubles it's not a huge deal since most priority is self targeting.
