>>44637108Arbok, Seviper and Serperior. I like them all for the same basic reason of me loving snakes but I have other reasons for liking them as well.
>ArbokArbok and Ekans are my #1 favorites simply because they are the most snake-like snakes in the series, as well as the fact the Pokemon that I've owned for the longest happens to be a female Arbok. I really like using Arbok in competitive, it's usually shit but if you manage to set up coil you can do some cool stuff, I especially love OHKO'ing Xerneas and Arceus-Fairy with Gunk Shot. Also Ekans is based off of Rattlesnakes, which is my favorite kind of snake, so that's a bonus.
>SeviperI almost like Seviper equally as much as Arbok.
I love the smug grin on it's face, the bladed tail, and well as the incredibly long fangs that can be seen even when it's mouth is closed. I also personally think that it's the cutest snakemon in amie/refresh.
>SerperiorThe Serperior line is based off of my second favorite type of snake, vine snakes. It's a big shame that they don't have the horizontal pupils that eastern vine snakes, but they do have the pointed snouts so they still capture some of the appeal. I also love how the entire line is based off of snake evolution with Snivy having full limbs and Serperior having tiny vestigial hands. I really like the "ears" that Serperior has on top of it's head and they almost make up for the lack of horizontal pupils. The fact that it's the grass type starter of my second favorite generation is also a huge plus, and Leaf Storm + Contrary is really fun.
