Megaman battle network could have saved itself if it went on a hiatus and came back better. As it was Megaman battle network 5 and 6 were disappointing at best.
And yes, there was a game that for a time came out once every year in the gameboy advanced era, guess which one.
It was full on burn out. There was no where to go except an entire new aspect of the franchise. That only lasted 3 iterations.
If they take their time, like maybe 3 years, the next game should be great. If they announce it before the end of this year it won't matter, it will be bad.
