I don't like that these full dragon designs are always just using the exact same looking parts from Zekrom and Reshiram. I feel like the original should have stronger and more developed looking features, with Zekrom and Reshiram's wings, tail, and such just being crippled versions of it, rather than simply glueing them together.

Why do all these artists keep missing the point? Base kyurem is an empty husk, while black/white are half formed, so why would it's final form still look like a patchwork frankenstein of separate bodyparts?

That's the problem kid, the Black/White Kyurem fusions were as a result of Team Plasma seeking a way to re-create the original dragon. while only having half the OG dragon and the shell it left behind when it split into Reshiram/Zekrom. An actual Original Dragon would incorporate elements of Reshiram/Zekrom AND resemble Kyurem more than either of the other two.

The best for me would be pure Dragon with some Steelworker-esque ability affecting Fire/Electric type moves. I'm still not sure if it's meant to have Ice powers too or not. I always took that as just representing the emptiness of Kyurem, but Electric/Fire/Ice is a common trio in Pokemon so idk maybe it is intended to be a part of the OG Dragon

They get the types of water/steel/ghost to represent the states of matter liquid/solid/gas, so Reshiram and Zekrom's fire/electric can be interpreted as representing plasma/energy
It kinda works

the main problem with these is that they choose the wrong colors. instead of black and white, use slightly darker and lighter shades of graey. enough to be noticable, but not so much as to be autistic. this one here also has too much yellow. the yellow should be reserved for the one horn on its head, and the cords that connect its back to its tail. lastly, the excessive yellow parts can be changed to an icy blue, like how the original kyurem is.
ps. they should've added the cords.

no idea why gen 5 fags think this, a newer region will always reference the last region the most and unova and sinnoh have literally no common ground like the ones sinnoh shares with the other 3 pokejapan regions. Unova has alot in common with the other non japanese regions so the original dragon, if it ever comes to fruition will connect the non japanese regions with each other like sinnoh's mythology is connected to the pokejapan regions.

The OD will never exist officially, it was never designed in the first place.
If BW3 comes the dragons won't be the focus and instead something new will.
At best they'll each get a brand new form, to represent growth instead of a regression (the OD returning)
The reason it split in the first place was because it learned new ideas that split its opinion, reshiram and zekrom now traveling the world is bound to open up even more ideas and viewpoints.

I mean they already dipped their toes on it in BW2 and finally did the concept in USUM with Ultra Necrozma.

You're mistaken.
The kyurem fusions were brand new forms that never existed before.
Something new, that could only have existed by the OD splitting.
Ultra necrozma didn't have a backstory similar to the OD.
It fusing doesn't mean the same thing.

There's a reason you can't fuse them together in BW2 and why the OD was never even designed in the first place.
