Where's the Pokemon Fortnite Open World Royale? The Pokemon FNAF horror ripoff? What about the Pokemon Minecraft sandbox game?
The notion that Pokemon aims for what is popular or enticing for children/zoomers is a fucking meme. TPCI and GameFreak are entirely out of touch with what the audience they're aiming for wants. Everyone buys Pokemon because it's Pokemon alone and not for whatever nostalgia pandering, half-assed attempt at anything they do. The closest they managed to hit the niche with something was Pokken and even then it only served to alienate the audience they wanted even more because of the phase shift even though it was a novel idea.
Pokemon isn't for fucking children anymore. If children can't go a second without looking at their phones then why are they expected to mash A through a hundred differen't boring dialogue sequences and "explore" a region with NO freedom whatsoever despite open-world games being the new big thing?
Pokemon is NOT for children anymore, the fact shit like Pokemon Smile and Unite exist as separate entities for literal toddlers and chinks at all has made this abundantly apparent.
