The combination possibilities even with only two fully evolved mons per fusion would be too abhorrently insanely big and complex and excluding any would be stupid and arbitrary so no. It’s w cool idea but just doesn’t work for the whole franchise

I think it could be possible if some fusions weren't entirely based on what was used. There could be like a pool of 50 of them and each one requires certain species, shapes or types then the palette changes depending on what was used.

Thats a good idea actually too. Pokemon already have a specific color, body type, and egg group, maybe it could be defined based on those 3 factors

I know it won't be. With Game Freak cutting the supported pokémon in-game from now on, due to how hard it is to get them all working correctly in two years, they're *not* going to turn around and increase the workload by creating hybrid models they then have to get working in-game for launch in two years. That RéBurst also died on its arse indicated to the franchise the market just isn't there in Japan for this shit, meaning there's less of a chance it goes international, they don't really give a fuck for us, beyond making sure we buy what they throw at us.
