Even though Galar/Gen 8 is one of the FEW regions where all three starters are clearly derived from the country of basis. A spy, a rocker & a futbol player. No other region has had all three starters so universally encompass the country of inspiration.

Gen1 starters all have Kaiju starters since Kanto is based on Japan's where Kaiju genre is born

That’s a bit of a stretch to call the Kanto starters Kaiju. The Nidos & Rhydon WAAAY more fit into Kaijus than the Kanto starters.
