>>44663123Cutting content is an unfortunate and realistic reality of game development, ideally you wouldn't want them to cut content from Pokken especially because every character has a unique playstyle and movelist, which is incredible for even a modern fighting game. Cutting them just for the sake of it is ridiculous because somebody is definitely attached to a specific character, and honestly, the palette swaps in this game very likely did not take the place of anything original.
It's a big reason why the "Everyone is here" reveal was such a shock for Smash Ultimate. The whole "I want X cut" talking point is something you see a lot in smash discourse and it's usually just for superficial reasons of people not liking X character just being there. I personally don't think the non-palette swaps in this game are bad choices at all (though I'm biased for Craogunk cause I love them, at least they had a role in the TV show)
