Fighting type thread.

Do you lads do any martial arts? Does your favorite fighting type have any correlation with your favorite martial art?

I like Hitmontop, and picked up Capoeira after a few years of general MMA training. All the hitmons are great, though.

i do boxing, been doing it on and off for about 4 years. mainly do it to look after myself, for fun and fitness.

is that useful in a street fight? i like boxing because it's easily applicable in the street.

I did wrestling for a good majority or life. Been wanting to get into boxing and Hawlucha has swiftly become my favorite boy behind toxicroak

No martial arts skills. My favorite visual style of martial arts is probably boxing, I used to watch a little wrestling growing up, but it kinda fell off for me.
My favorite fighting types are
>Sirfetch'd
>Lucario
>Hitmonchan
>Medicham
>Infernape
I like my punchy boys. Medicham's might be my favorite out of all of them, simply because if I did ever take up anything like this in real life, I'd love to learn something built around meditation and breathing control.

Granted, I also bred him with Dragon Dance and Ice Punch, which also helped.

To answer both of you lads it isn't super helpful for a street fight. But it definitely increased my flexibility, which is something I'd been meaning to do for a while. Its definitely nice to be able to do handstands on command.

I'm a manlet who hates sports but last year I took an MMA class for college. Loved it enough that I joined the club (it closed obviously because of covid).
It's been a while and I'm out of shape, but I miss performing BJJ
