I picked snivy, but i never finished the game so no 2nd playthrough. Were I to play it again, I think I might pick the silly otter. That said the monkeys are way better.

I usually pick Snivy because it's one of my favorites, but in my last playthrough of White I chose Samurott to mix things up.

All three, actually. Wanted to do a run with the three together because they're my favourite starters. The Oshawott line is one of my all-time favourites now.

I chose Tepig when I first played it as a kid, but the first starter I beat the game with was Oshawott and it really grew on me as a result.

All three are pretty good though.

I chose tepig because i was going to box the starter anyway and i just picked the type that would give me the most trouble from the rival.

Snivy because i wanted to make her a movie star.

I’ve never been interested in using Snivy for a playthrough, Serperior without Contrary is just a fast Meganium but no powder moves.

I actually did all three on my first playthrough. I was unspoiled on the evolutions and I decided I was just going to run them all to see what was best, and based on my experience with Sinnoh I didn't have faith that the other grass/fire/water types would be anything more than dogshit. Obviously I was wrong.

Most recently, Oshawott in Black. When I go through White 2 again starting tonight or tomorrow, I'll probably try Snivy for an extra challenge since it gets barely any coverage and Whimsicott was just too fun and too good.
