I really want to like the game but they actively make garbage decisions. Breeding shouldn't be 1/100 as hard as it is for a game with a game with such a fucked economy

After all the shilling this game gets here i finally decided to give it a try, i beat Unova, Hoenn, and was halfway through Kanto before i asked myself 'What's even the point?'

Sure the added difficulty is nice but there are romhacks out there that do it better

Shiny chance is 1/30k (unless you 'donate' or spend millions on a donation ticket that lasts 1 week) if you're lucky and your favorite is part of a horde you'll potentially get it in 6k horde battles, if it's not then good luck getting one
It doesn't help that sweet scent consumes 5pp per use across the party, meaning if you've got 2 pokemon with sweet scent they BOTH lose 5pp so you have to go back and forth to the pokemon center which sucks if the horde is far away

Some Unova pokemon get locked behind phenomena, the problem is that there's only 1 (one) instance of phenomena in the whole game and it changes locations every 20 minutes or so
Feebas is another annoying pokemon to get
>Competitive
You lose your pokemon when breeding so you need to constantly catch breeding stock, which makes breeding tedious considering you need at least 6 pokemon
>Cosmetics collection
The economy is fucked, the most basic cosmetics cost 1 million pokeyen then we get stuff above 100m
A normal gym run gives you around 200k/hr so you need to farm 5 hours to afford some shitty pair of glasses or hat

So yeah, this game is not for me, maybe when they release dungeons i'll give it another try but for now i'll stay away

Drilbur, Audino, Emolga, Ducklett are exclusive to dust clouds/shaking grass/shadow encounters but they're server-side, in all of Unova there can only be 1
Every now and then when someone finds it they announce it in global chat so people can go there, or you can ask around and hopefully someone spotted it

Also you can get other pokemon/items in there so if you're unlucky you'll have to hunt phenomena multiple times, i think i got to 5 while i was in Unova but never got any exclusive
Once i got to another region i didn't bother anymore since it's a hassle to change regions every time
