These are great designs. They are supposed to be unnatural, incomplete abominations of science, and the designs accomplish it with the biomechanical elements as well as the asymmetry. In fact, they accomplish it better than Mewtwo and Genesect whose design can be mistaken for an alien and a robot.

I'm not a genwunner but Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh and Johto's beast trio are the peak of legendary Pokémon. Several of the later generations ruined the whole idea by bloating the amount of legends and giving too much lore power creep. There are too many of them and they are too integral to the functionality and balance of the Pokémon world.

I like the long legs, this is a creature that moves around by levitating rather than walking, so the long hanguing legs reinforce this.

Most people are aware that it floats, but the legs still look like shit. Vestigial limbs tend to shrink, not stretch out.
The only saving grace is if they somehow tie into its fused formes in an interesting way.

This design always bugged me because not only it is the most retarded Pokemon in existence but because it was reminding me of something but I couldn't quite tell what.

Months later I realize what it was reminding me of was an obscure "What A Cartoon" oneshot from the 90's about alien beings with heads so big they need an apparatus to be able to actually stand. This is the fix this design needs.
