Added:
- secret bases + the underground but less laggy and less geared to mostly multiplayer. Would be nice to have Fly locations for these as well, and there should be some benefit to having one. Such as the ability to upgrade it to have berry spots, a PC, a place to heal, etc
- following pokemon
- ball seals
- minigames in the vain of Pokethlon
- field moves being used by your own pokemon; HMs can make a return but don't force an unforgettable shitty move to be learned to do it.
- post-game; contests, battle facilities,vs seeker, more
- the moves that were cut in gen 8
- day/night and seasons
- roaming pokemon
>What do you think could be improved upon?
- player customization. Body types, base characters, clothing options. Also the ability to customize the appearance of mons slightly would be great, even if it's limited to positioning their held item.
- region design should be drastically improved and the games made less linear progression-wise. The only region that did this well was Kanto but those are extremely aged games.
- models and animations obviously
- type balance, see image
- sensible type retcons like the obvious gen 8 Octopus that isn't Water, or making Yanmega and Flygon Bug/Dragon
>What do you want the region to be based on?
I'd like another comfy, mostly suburban/rural region with little climate variation. Would be good to have islands available to travel to which represent the RPG standard VOLCANO/DESERT/SNOW/WATER levels on the side. Doesn't matter too much though so long as the game's progression is actually good.
