Though if we are talking immoral, the entire concept of putting living highly intelligent beings in pocket dimensional prisons to make them fight for us is probably more immoral. Its basically Roman Gladiators fighting for their Masters with the reward and saying of: "What? the Gladiators like fighting, its what they're good at! They get food, prestige, and higher quality homes. They're not slaves!"
