I used both in my recent BW run
Garbodor is just OK, he kinda just uses Toxic and Sludge bomb and dies
Vanilluxe is good the bad thing is that evolves at a ridiculous level so I was stuck with Vanillite and Vanillish for the entire game until the E4

I'm perfectly fine with Garbodor. Gameplay-wise as well as thematically it's a lot like Muk and Weezing, and I like bulky Poison types.

Vanilluxe is trash, and it's because it's literally just 2 Vanillites. It's just as bad as Digtrio and Klingklang or whatever it's called.

I've always liked the whole Vanillite line and legitimately never understood the backlash, and though I don't care about it much I think Trubbish is cute enough. But Garbodor is kind of rough, it's just heaps of garbage, and it lacks the kind of whimsy that stuff like Muk and Weezing have that make pollution monsters more palatable. I don't hate it, but it's not exactly for me.

I'd rather use Garbodor purely because he's a better type and evolves earlier than that shitter ice cream who only uses ice beam and flash cannon in BW. The design is cute but he blows ass in battle.
